Barda Hills Wildlife Sanctuary
Barda is 282 square kilometres (109 sq mi) in size with an altitude of 79.2–617.8 meters (260–2,027 ft) above sea level. The terrain is hilly and undulating; there are slopes and exposed rocks. The tropical climate is characterized by very hot summers. Located at about 15 km from Porbandar, the Sanctuary is distributed in two districts i.e. Porbandar and Jamnagar. The Sanctuary area is a green surrounded by agriculture fields, wastelands and forest and the terrain of Barda is almost hilly.
Kirti Mandir, Porbandar
Kirti Mandir, a pleasant and bright place of respect, was built in the honour of Mahatma Gandhi and his wife Kasturba Gandhi in Porbandar in the Indian State of Gujarat. The ancestral house of Mahatma Gandhi is located right beside the temple. Visitors can enter the ancestral home from the temple.
